Lisa and Mike have been a fan of Indigo Girls since Amy and Emily first started singing. Mike discovered their great harmonies and reflecitve lyrics while he was working in college radio (WBNY 91.3 FM Buffalo) and passed his find off to Lisa when they met in 1989. They saw the girls perform live for the first time in Lewiston, New York (Artpark - opening for Joan Baez) and were hooked!

Since then, they have seen Amy and Emily perform close to 30 times around the Northeast. And, as luck and good karma would have it, they were able to meet them in person in 1990. Mike forgot his camera that night, and asked another lucky fan if he could get some pictures...that simple twist of fate has turned into a lifetime friendship between Lisa and Mike and Dave. Now, whenever the Girls are within 200 miles of Buffalo, the three indigo nuts drive to see the shows, and most times, we all have a nice talk with the girls after the show.
