Rivoli
This was our first phonograph. It
was found in a small antique store in Westfield, New York. We knew
nothing about phonographs, so we assumed we had a winner. Upon further
inspection, what we had was a somewhat rare machine made be a company
is Chicago. The best part of the machine is the lovly two toned
interal wooden horn. The worst part is its use of "pot metal"
in the reproducer. This alloy degrades over time and cracks. You'll
notice the black electrial tape holding it together on the close
up picture of the turntable. Oh well, the horn still looks nice.
